Virginia Beach - Richard Eugene Airing, Dick, 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 10, 2015. Dick was born in Hanover, PA, the son of the late William F. Airing and Ruth Anna Airing of Barefoot Bay, FL who survives him. He was born in the same hospital, during the same week as, grew up with, and later married his high school sweetheart from Taneytown, Maryland, Barbara Rinehart Airing, his wife of 50 years. He served with the United States Navy for four years prior to attending the University of Baltimore, which he graduated from with a B.S. in Accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant and spent his career working in public accounting, finance jobs with several real estate firms and as a mortgage loan officer. He was a member of Trinity Church and actively participated in the Men's bible study for many years. He loved nice cars, enjoyed skiing and playing golf. He will be remembered as a very caring, funny, compassionate, generous and loving husband, father, and friend. His life was an inspiration to many who were close to him as has been the constant care and dedication of his loving wife.
