Karen Sue Richards age 53 of Saranac, MI passed away January 27, 2018. She was born March 20, 1964 in Carson City, MI the daughter of Wayne and Alice (Middaugh) Shinabarger. Karen married Danny Richards on June 13, 1992. She enjoyed ceramics, crafts, crocheting and needlepoint, puzzles, painting, cooking and baking. She was a collector of Native American art and snowmen. She was a member of Clarksville Bible Church.
Surviving are her parents Wayne and Alice Shinabarger of Carson City; husband Danny Richards of Saranac; son Joshua (Ashley) Richards of Muskegon; daughter Sabrina Poling of Saranac; step son Kevin Richards of Lowell; grandchildren Audrianna, Summer and Kodi; brothers Jim (Rhonda) Wright of Lakeview, Ron (Rhonda) Wright of Clarksville, Alan (Kim) Shinabargar of Greenville, Carl (Doris) Shinabargar of Lawton; sisters Emma (Paul) Ackley of Lakeview and Alice (Dave) McPherson of Belding.
Memorial service will be held at Clarksville Bible Church on February 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bateman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service (10-11am) at the church.
