Ms. Rogers was born in Tampa, Florida on October 22, 1942 and grew up in Lakeland, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Milton Rogers and Cleo Ruby Harralson Rogers and brother, James Rogers.
Ms. Rogers is survived by her two children, former spouse, father of her children and lifelong companion, four grandchildren, brother, sister, two sister-in-laws.
Diane retired from Jacksonville High School where she taught mathematics. After retirement, she taught at Hope Academy at the Presbyterian Home for Children in Talladega. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, travel, antiques, her four grandchildren and her three small dogs. She held both a B.S. and a M.S. degree from Jacksonville State University.
