José D. Griego, age 91, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018.
José is survived by his six children, Cathy Beel, Lynette Griego and Jim Jones, Andalecio Griego, Vivian Griego, Pete Griego and Anthony Griego and his wife, Rita, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one on the way, nieces, Rose Martínez and her husband, John and Tita Delgado and many other extended family members.
José was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jessie.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 9:45 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW with a Rosary to be recited at 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Andalecio Griego, Vivian Griego, Pete Griego, Anthony Griego, Dominic Baca and Benjamin Griego.∼Husband of Jessie Griego.
