George Arthur Wright, age 71, of Clay City, Illinois, passed away Sunday morning, January 28, 2018, at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
George was born April 8, 1946, in Olney, the son of George Allen Wright and Alice (Fox) Wright. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
George is survived by his wife: Vicki Taishoff Wright; a daughter: Rhonda (Brian) Walsh; a son: George Anthony Wright; his aunt: Florence Dunlap; a brother: David Wright; half-siblings: Mary Sterner and John Wright; and four grandchildren: Jake, Jessica, Dylan, and Katie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers: LeRoy Wright and Jerry Don Wright.
Interment will take place at Wright Cemetery in Wayne County.
