age 81, of Knoxville TN passed away on December 12th, 2017. He was a retired UT Police Captain and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Burlington and a 32nd degree Mason. Harold was a multi-skilled builder and a helpful man.
He leaves behind to mourn him, his wife of over 56 years Barbara (Jeanie) Underwood; son Jim Underwood (wife Melissa); daughters Vicki Underwood and Amy Fludd (husband Twan); grandchildren Kristin Smith (husband Jordan), Sara Underwood, Zachary Underwood, Jordon and Jaydon Fludd; great grandchildren Hunter, Spencer and Brody; brother Earl Underwood (wife Annette); sister Nancy Winkle; brother-in-law Jack Evans. He had many friends, especially, Arland York.
Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 East Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN.
