DANTE, Va. Ethel Mae Fields, 77, died on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon, Virginia. She was born in Dickenson County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Franklin Cooper and Mary Ennis Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Fields, three sisters and three brothers. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church, Dante, Virginia. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Neece and husband, Eddie of Dante, Virginia; one son, Bobby Fields and Alicia of St. Paul, Virginia; one sister, Patsy Fields and husband, Tivis, Jr. of Bristol, Virginia; special niece, Dreama Anderson of Castlewood, Virginia; and special nephew, Alex Fields of Dante, Virginia. Funeral services for Ethel Fields will be conducted at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January, 30, 2018, at Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia with the Rev. Estel Amburgy and the Rev. Dwaine Rasnick officiating. Committal services and interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Temple Hill Memorial Park, Castlewood, Virginia. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home and go in procession to the cemetery leaving at 10:30 a.m.. Pallbearers will be Chad Anderson, Patrick Fields, Parker Fields, Garrett Patton, Tony Taylor, and Vance Raines. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Fields, and Eddie Neece. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, Virginia.
