He was born on September 9, 1937 in Corinth, MS, to the late Chester and Agnes Mayo Helton. He married Phyllis Wadley on September 18, 1960 and they were married 57 years at his death. He was a Construction Contractor owning H & H Construction.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January, 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. at George A. Smith and Sons South Chapel with Ken Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
