January 15, 2009 Andrew Baldwin passed away peacefully at his home in Rome, NY, on January 15, 2009. He was born in Syracuse in 1921 to Charles and Anna Desimone. He was predeceased by his wife, Eleanor, in 2001 and their infant son, Andrew, in 1943. He is survived by his daughters, Frances (James) Decker of Baldwinsville, Lorraine Baldwin of Rome, Barbara (Henry) Swistak of Rome and Paula (Greg) Tiner of Baldwinsville; his grandchildren, Lisa O'Mara, Emily Pratt, Elena Friot, Irene Vescio, Lydia Swistak, and Andrew and Jessica Tiner; his great-grandchildren, Kieran, John and Eleanor; and his beloved cat, Fluffy. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:45 a.m. from Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut St., Rome, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
