Joseph B. Ard of Woodward died Sunday, May 28, 1961 at his home.
A retired salesman, he was born in Lebanon May 17, 1882, the son of Dr. W.P. and Amanda Moser Ard.
He married Grace Keiser, April 4, 1902. She survived. He was a member of the Northumberland Moose Lodge 897.
Surviving were three brothers, Wilson P. Ard, Lewisburg; Harold G. Ard, Woodward; and Ray B. Ard, Millheim; one sister, Mrs. Maude Kuhlman, East Liverpool, Ohio; and a brother, Dr. George P. Ard, Hanover. Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survived.
Funeral services were held at the Neff Funeral Home, Millheim, with the Reverend Theodore F. Schneider officiating.
Interment was in the Woodward Cemetery.
