James M Griggs, age 27, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 unexpectedly at his residence.
He was born August 31, 1990 and worked at Christie Lane Industries. He loved 80’s music, puzzles, trains and going for car rides. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. James showed the true meaning of unconditional Love to everyone he met.
He is survived by his grandmother, Shirleen (Dingey) Tinkham of Collins; siblings, Rob (Cali) Griggs of Sandusky, Tricia (Scott) Costanzo of Norwalk and Dan (Lucia) Griggs of Norwalk; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved service dog, Takoda; parents, Robert and Rebecca (Tinkham) Griggs, both on January 26, 2018; a grandfather, John Tinkham in 2006 and Robert Griggs Sr. in 2008; and his aunt, Kim Leimeister in 2014.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 243 Benedict Avenue, Norwalk with Pastor Ann Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
