PUSKAR JAMES S.
Age 70, of Oakland, California, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Born in Homestead, PA to the late Andrew "Checco" Puskar and Irene "Bobik" Puskar on July 17, 1946. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Rush who survives him and is also survived by his brother, Francis "Frank" Puskar of Daly City, CA. Jim graduated from West Mifflin North High School and Duquesne University, Class of 1968. He was retired from Kaiser-Permanente. Jim sang in the Oakland Symphony Chorus and was a Patron of the Arts. Being a proud liberal, Jim was a political junkie, always making his views known. He was a lover of Classical and Jazz music and enjoyed a glass of fine wine. Jim was also proud of being a member of Duquesne University's Spiritan Circle and a patron of the University's Women's Rowing Team. There will be no visitation.
