Kenny was a landscaper for over 40 years and ran his own company. He was raised in a horse family and even won state champion once. Kenny was literally brought to the Lord in a prison cell and he was never the same. He gave up the party life for time spent with his girls and their families. He loved his 3 grandkids so much. He loved sports, playing cards, sharing meals with family and friends, and he loved collecting all kinds of treasures.
But Kenny loved people the most - he loved to talk to them, really listened to them, and mostly he loved to make people smile. Kenny is in Heaven now with a brand new audience, an even bigger stage, and will have new material for when we see him again.
Kenny is survived by his “two greatest accomplishments”, his daughters, Kendra (AJ) Bradburn and Jenna (Brian) Trethewey; and grandchildren, Emily, Will, and Maggie. Kenny is also survived by his parents, Warren “Gene” Jones and Marion Jones; his younger brother, Steve “T-Bone” (Connie) Jones; nieces, Kelsey (Andy) Bogard and Melissa Jones; sister-in-law, Betsy Jones; nephews, Jason (Jamie) Jones and Jon Jones; great-nephew, Kenny and great-niece, Jennifer Talboom. Kenny was preceded in death by his older brother, Allen Jones and stepmother, Glenis “Dee” Jones.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Kenny's name to Hospice House of South Bend, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545; South Bend Center for the Homeless, 813 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN 46601; or Kairos Prison Ministry, Kairos of Indiana, PO Box 681515, Indianapolis, IN 46268-1515. His girls would like you to honor their goofball dad by wearing sports apparel and a smile to his Memorial Service at Living Stones Church, 718 Donmoyer Avenue, South Bend, IN 46614, on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m at the church, for family and friends to gather. Palmer Funeral Homes - Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left for Kenny's family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
