They later moved to Big Stone City and as a young man Mr. Barnhardt moved to Ortonville, Minnesota in 1930 and had lived here since. He was married to Phyllis Laudenschlager on June 25, 1944 at Odessa.
He had been employed as a quarry foreman for the North Star Granite Company and later the Cold Springs Granite Company. He had been hospitalized at the Ortonville Hospital and death came on Tuesdy evening here.
Woodrow is survived by wife Phyllis; daughter Carol; 5 grandchildren; sisters Helen (Mrs. Richard O'Brien) and Lena (Mrs. Phil Gagnon); brothers Vyle, Walter and Leo.
Preceding him in death were his parents, daughter Gladys Arends and two infant sisters.
Services were held at the First English Lutheran Church in Ortonville. Pallbearers were Archie Merritt, Steve Kurkosky, Joe Paul, Conrad Herrman, Donald Hynnek and Fred Reupke.
