JERRY F. ANGEL, 85, of Avilla, died Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, surrounded by his family. Born Oct. 14, 1932, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Thomas and Susie Angel. Jerry attended North Side High School and worked in sales as a Food Broker covering territories in Indiana and surrounding states for over 35 years. He loved spending time at the lake with family and enjoying his hobbies of fishing, hunting and going to casinos with his wife and friends. Jerry is survived by his sons, Larry (Diane) Angel and Bret (Amy) Angel, both of Fort Wayne and Greg (Kim) Angel of Kendallville, Ind.; daughter, Karen (Gary) Flotow of Kendallville, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; twin brother, Larry (Joyce) Angel; and sisters, Marian Brown and Shirley Creason. Jerry was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Kathleen B. Angel; and 10 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
