Amy Jeanette “Jean” Clements, 81, of St. Inigoes, MD, formerly of Ridge, MD passed away on January 26, 2018 in Leonardtown, MD. Born on October 20, 1936 in Ridge, MD she was the daughter of the late Jeanette Allen Greenwell and Ernest Matthew Forrest. Jean was the loving wife of the late Robert E. Clements, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 28, 2007 and whom she married on November 25, 1958 in Trinity Episcopal Church St. Mary’s City, MD. Jean is survived by her children: Viola Stewart (Jim) of London, KY, Dianna Dean (Leon) of St. Inigoes, MD and Robert E. Clements, Jr. (Stacey) of Dameron, MD. Sister-in-law: Mary Hall of Callaway, MD. Daughter-in-law: Becky Brascome of AL. 10 Grandchildren: Shaunte Edwards, William E. Clements, Jr., Samantha Edwards, Hannah Blanchard, James Edwards, Shelby Clements, Robert E. Clements, III, Roxanne Dean, Denise Dean, Kimberly Morgan Clements and 4 Great Grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her son William E. Clements. Siblings: Helen Marie Langley, Virginia Abell, Sandra Knott, Florence Whitten and Clarence Forrest.

Jean graduated from Great Mills High School and was a lifelong St. Mary’s County resident. She was a Supply Clerk at Patuxent River Naval Station, Patuxent River, MD. She enjoyed; shopping, gardening, playing bingo, fishing, and crabbing. As well as spending time with family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in Trinity Episcopal Church St. Mary’s City, MD where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM with Father John Ball officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: James Edwards, Gene Forrest, Allen Abell, Phil Langley, Bennie Knott and Tommy Bean. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Robert Clements, Jr., Robert E. Clements III, William E. Clements, Jr., Leon A. Dean, and James Stewart.
