Thomas Roland Glasgow, 89, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born September 4, 1928 in Magazine, Arkansas to Thomas Jay and Mamie May (Cooper) Glasgow.

T.R. was retired after serving in the Navy during World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer after 27 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Magazine, the American Legion and formerly served on the School Board in Magazine.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris (Springer) Glasgow; daughter, Sherry Lynn (Glasgow) McClendon; brothers, Bobbie, Donnie and T.J. Glasgow; sisters, Mamie Irene Glasgow, Christine McKinnie and Margretta Thornberry.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 29, 2018 at Lick Creek Cemetery near Booneville, Arkansas, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 3-4:00 P.M. on Sunday at Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by one daughter, Pamela Mueller (Brian) of Booneville; two sons, Darrell Glasgow and Jamey Glasgow both of Booneville; one sister, Joyce Marie Beckart of San Diego, California; six grandchildren and three great grandsons; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will be John Marshall, Brian Mueller, Michael Mueller, Tim Crowder, Josh Gatlin, Johnnie Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jamey and Darrell Glasgow.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peachtree Hospice, 2910 Jenny Lind, Building 4, Fort Smith, AR 72901.
