Born in Pudua Township, McLean Co., Illinois.
Son of John James and Hulda Abigail (Miller) Bingham.
Moved with his parents and siblings to Hand Co., South Dakota in 1883.
Married in St. Lawrence, SD January 26, 1908 to June Louise (Taylor), daughter of Dr. James B. and Hattie E. (Davis) Taylor.
Parents of Louise T., James D., Philip, E., Lucien U. (died at 5 months), and Helen E.
By 1933, all the children were married. Ernest and June, along with their two married sons, moved to Bonner Co., Idaho. By 1940, the sons and their families had moved on to Washington.
We know from Ernest's 1942 WWII Draft Registration card that Ernest and June were still residing in Idaho.

* No further info found for Ernest after 1942, but we know that June died in King Co., Washington April 14, 1954.
Ernest may have died in Idaho, and June went to Washington to live with a son... or they both had moved from Idaho to Washington sometime after 1942. ---csr
