Bonita Kay “Bonnie” Hamilton, 59, Ozawkie, Kan., died Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Northcare Hospice, Kansas City, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday, January 29 at Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home, Axtell.

A graveside funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 29, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery, Axtell, Kansas.

Bonnie was born on February 15, 1958 to Harry A. and Ruby E. (Butler) Hamilton at Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated Wyandotte High School in 1976 . Bonnie was a forklift operator working for Berry Plastics in Lawrence, seven years and at Landoll’s Corporation for six years. She lived in Washington, Kan for about ten years, then moved to Tonganoxie and Ozawkie.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and brother, Harry “Mike” Hamilton.

Survivors include her companion, Gene Anderson, Ozawki; son, Michael (Lisa) Neugebauer, Washington; daughter, Jennifer Guthrie, Ozawkie; brothers, James “Jim” McIntosh, Butler, Missouri, Kenneth Hamilton, Dayton, Ohio, David Hamilton, Kansas City, Missouri; sisters, Teresa Hamilton, Lenexa, Carol Doggett, Overland Park; and three grandchildren, Trenton Neugebauer, Dawn Guthrie and Heaven Townsend.

A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home, Axtell.
