Erma Blanche Buck Abbott, 93, retired music teacher, died Thursday (Aug. 21, 1997) in the Manor Oak Skilled Nursing Facility after a lengthy illness. Born in Warsaw, she attended local schools and the Chicago Conservatory of Music. She spent many years teaching piano and violin at Morgan Park Military Academy in Chicago and the American Conservatory in Detroit before returning to Western New York to be a self-employed music teacher.
