He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Oslie and Leon Hicks; sister, Gracie Lee Kersey; and son-in-law, William Andrews.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 67 years, Louise Hicks; daughter, Gail Andrews of Panama City; sons, Randy Hicks (Michelle) of Lynn Haven and Timothy Hicks of Southport; grandchildren, Mark Andrews, Charity Blackman, Aaron Andrews, Brandy Molder, Heather Hicks, Brooke Hicks, Christopher Hicks, Justin Hicks, Lindsey Hicks, and Brianna Hicks; 22 great grandchildren; and brother, Leamon Hicks.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Sunday, January 28, 2018 in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. The service will be held 10 A.M., Monday, January 29, 2018 at First Assembly of God on East Avenue with Rev. Wayne Johnson and Rev. Mark Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
