Sarah was close to her family and enjoyed outdoor sports such as fishing and camping, and she also loved knitting. She is survived by a daughter, Sonja Leighton, as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Myron F. Hobbs, Jr., a daughter, Maysie Bouchard, and a good friend, Harold Carey. The family would like to thank the staff at Bangor Nursing and Rehab Center for the care they provided for "Mum." A graveside service will be held in the spring at West Enfield Cemetery.
