Dora Frances Sorflaten (Trubi), age 94, of Albert Lea, died Monday, October 9. Funeral services were Wednesday, October 11 with interment at the Little Cedar Cemetery in Adams.
Dora was born July 15, 1906 in Charles City, IA, to George Edwin and Lillian (Hoffman) Baldwin. She married Richard Sorflaten on August 2, 1952. Dora retired from Wilson and Company where she had worked for 16 years. After she retired, Dora became a homemaker. Dora liked to go visiting relatives and friends and going out to eat.
Dora is survived by sisters-in-law, Helen Tischer of Burbank, IL and Joan Sorflaten of Irving, TX; brother-in-law, Orville Sorflaten of Church Hill, MD; many nieces and nephews; Bonnie Barrientos of Glenville, Zona Luecht and Nola Akemann both of Joyce, IA, Lavern Baldwin of Glenville, Roger Baldwin of Albert Lea, Leland Baldwin Jr. of Minneapolis, Terry Baldwin of Minneapolis, David Sorflaten of Rock Hall, MD, Joan Sorflaten, Judith Walsh, Donna Lou Ward, Esther Lee Moffet, Vada Marks of Church Hill, MD, Beverly Ewing and David Ewing of Baltimore, MD, Sandra Anderson of Stevensville, MD, Heidi Stewart, John Todd Sorflaten and Scot Sorflaten of Irving, TX, Robert Tischer of Oak Forest, IL, John D.
