Sue was born in London, Ohio on Feb. 10, 1933.
She graduated from London High School. She will be remembered by friends as a beautiful majorette with the L.H.S. Band.
Preceded in death by husbands, Bill Schlechty and Lee Wolf; parents, Lawrence and Myrtle (Justice) Thompson; brother, Billy; and sister, Jeanne Suplizio.
Sue is survived by her brother, Larry of Tucson, Ariz.; sisters, Joan Colley and Mary Parsons, both from London. She is also survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Schlechty) (Kris) Pettit and Lori (Schlechty) (Larry) Scharfenberger; grandchildren, Rachael (Pettit) Pisanelli, Christian and Jonathon Pettit, Leah (Pettit) Green, Joshua and Luke Scharfenberger, Heidi (Scharfenberger) Knapke; and nine great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service is planned for the family at Paint Township Cemetery.
