Mr. Scott Edward Arrington, 42 of Frederick, Maryland died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He was the husband of Tomara Marie Grove Arrington.
Born November 22, 1969 in Frederick, he was the son of Edward and Kay Arrington.
He grew up in Buckeystown. During his childhood he worked on the Long Lane farm. He enjoyed working on the farm with Lino and riding motorcycles and kayaking.
He graduated from Frederick high in 1987. He received his BS degree from University of Maryland in 1991 and completed his Master's degreeIn 1993 from the University of Maryland at Baltimore.
Scott became a LSCW-S in 1993 and worked as a therapist at Sheppard Pratt in the Frederick area for 12+ years.
He was a very hardworking and caring man. You may have seen him around town. He was the man you saw on his bike with that big sombrero hat and the one who sings Elvis Presley as he walked his dog with his daughter Olivia. Scott was a wonderful husband. He cheered Kade's soccer team while he was nervously pacing from the sidelines. He was the best dad the world has ever seen.
Scott was an avid runner and completed numerous marathons including the JFK 50. He loved the outdoors, hiking with the family and their dog Tyson.
All the wonderful memories we have of Scott will remain in our lives forever.
Surviving besides his wife at home are their children: Kade and Olivia; parents Edward and Kay Arrington of Deltaville, VA, sister Kim Osmond and her husband Dave Osmond of Hagerstown, MD and nephews Andrew,Justin, Cameron. Aunt Maryllee Differdal of Westminster, MD and Aunt and cousins Joe and June Lee of College Park, Md,In laws Benjamin and Denise Grove of Frederick, Sarah Bradbury and Rollie Atkinson of Healdsburg, CA.
Fondly remembered by life long friends Lino and Sandra Sulmonte Frederick, Craig Bowie, Texas, Jill Fitzsimmons, Frederick, Maryland and by his best four legged friend Tyson.
Scott is at the Robert E. Dailey and Son Funeral Homes, PA., 1201 North Market Street, Frederick.The funeral home will be open for visiting from 2-4 PM on Sunday January 22.Immediately following will be the funeral service.Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
