Ryan Marshall Russell, 41, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, Jan. 20, at Cedar Valley Hospice Home of natural causes.
He was born Aug. 5, 1976, in Waterloo, to Marvin Jenkins Jr. and Rhoda Russell. He married Stacy Carpenter in Cedar Rapids and they were later divorced.
He was a telemarketer and worked at Safelite AutoGlass.
Survived by his mother and father of Waterloo; his grandparents, Marvin and Ella Jenkins Sr. of Waterloo; two daughters, Kyanne Russell of Cedar Rapids and Maliyah Jensen of Johnston; a son, Kyran of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Porschia Jones of Charleston, S.C.; three brothers, MarTay (Camille) Jenkins of Goodyear, Ariz., Taurean (Charnesha) Jenkins of Waterloo and Russell (Marlene) Dixon of Pleasant Hill.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie Russell Sr. and Ray and Doris Hurd; and a niece, Lyric Jones.
Services 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Antioch Baptist Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Jan. 26, and for an hour before services on Saturday, both at the church.
