Ruby Lee Perry, 85, of Columbus, Texas passed away on January 23, 2018 in Columbus.

She was born on April 13, 1932 to Charles Sr. and Beulah Annette (Parnell) Smith in Goldsboro, North Carolina. On June 4, 1953 she married Raymond Ward Perry, Jr.

Ruby worked as a retail associate at Gump's Department Store and later as a receptionist for Executive Suites. She lived the past twelve years in Columbus.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Susan Tuskowski and husband Patrick of Largo, Florida; sons, Malcolm Perry and husband Michael John Smith of Houston, TX, and Raymond Perry and wife Joni of Columbus, TX; 4 grandchildren, Carrie Burris, Casey Parsons, Candace Burris, and Michael Perry; and 4 great grandchildren, Dillon, Justin, Bethany, and Trinity.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Ward Perry, Jr.; parents, Charles Sr. and Beulah Annette (Parnell) Smith; sisters, Lucille Williams and Mildred Crumpler; and brothers, Leo James Smith and Charles Smith, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cameron, TX.
