Jan. 10, 1944 -March 1, 2016Jeannie Baker was born at Camp White, OR, and spent the rest of her life in Grants Pass, OR. She passed away from natural causes at her home.Jeannie had a love of bowling for the past 60 plus years. Over the years she bowled on numerous leagues, received several awards and held a number of different board positions. She also coached, supported and traveled with youth leagues over the years. Prior to her death she was bowling on a Tuesday afternoon league at Caveman Bowl.Jeannie worked her whole life in Josephine County, working and owning different venues over the years. Her family will miss her dearly and so will her community of friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor Jeanette Harris-Ring (Wright), dad, Archie Otto Harris, dad Ellsworth Ring; and sister, Linda Marie Harris.She is survived by her significant other of 37 years, Bruce A. Fox; her daughter, Linda McAndrews and her husband Stephen of Springfield, OR; her son, Mike Baker and his wife Chris of Grants Pass; sisters, Rose Ann Wright of Grants Pass, Kathy Simmons of Grants Pass, Donna Stratton of Roseburg, OR, Pam Finley of Madras, OR; and brother, Ed Ring of Ocean Springs, MS; thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, along with numerous nephews and nieces.An Open House Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1975 Hamilton Lane in Grants Pass.
