Funeral services will be 11am, Monday, January 29, 2018 at Rafferty Funeral Home, Moline with visitation one hour prior. Entombment will be at St. Marys Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Julie was born May 1, 1945 in Maldegem, Belgium, the daughter of Albert and Magdelena (DeDecker) Cochuyt. Julia married Gary A. Anderson on September 1, 1984 in Moline. He preceded her in death in 2012.
Julie retired from Moline Public Hospital after 20 years. She enjoyed fishing and was a wonderful Aunt and caregiver to her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include stepchildren, Bruce Anderson, and Douglas Anderson, sister, Rose Mehrer, brothers, John, Albert, Rick, Jeffrey and Robert Cochuyt. She was preceded in death by great nephews, Alexander and Benjamin.
The family would like to thank Trinity Hospice Staff and Heartland Health Care for their wonderful care of Julie.
