James K. Temple 87 of Columbus, NJ passed away January 21, 2018.

Mr. Temple is retired from the US Postal Service, also retired from Pathmark.

A United States Marine Corp veteran having served in Korea, he is a recipient of 2 Purple Hearts and 1 Bronze Star. James was a lifetime member of the Whitehorse Fire Company.

Husband of the late Marion O'Toole Temple. Surviving are 2 daughters, Kristen & Jack Collins of Jackson, NJ, Kerry Miller of Vero Beach, FL, 3 grandchildren Andrea, David and Amy, 5 great grandchildren Kayla, Dameion, Peyton, Brody and Kendall, 3 sisters Lorraine, Claire and Joyce, Several nieces and nephews including Nancy and Janie, Special friend Marie.

Funeral services will be 11:30am Friday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Interment will follow in BGWCD Veterans Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call Friday 10:00 - 11:30am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
