Darren Jeremy Smith, age 44, born in Provo, UT and a resident of Daphne, AL died Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was an Industrial Electrician for Tracer Construction.
He is survived by two sons, Brent Alan Smith Carl of Bay Minette, AL and Bret Andrew Smith Carl of Bay Minette, AL; two daughters, Bailee Padgett Smith of Bay Minette, AL and Lillian Nicole Smith of Grand Bay, AL; his mother and stepfather, Melissa and Leslie Dean of Daphne, AL; one brother, Therion Ronald “Bo” (Shiloh) Stinson of Frisco City, AL; two sisters, Charity (Matt) Maestas of Bay Minette, AL and Faith (Tim) Tuberville of Robertsdale, AL; two grandchildren, Carson Daniel Stewart and Brantley Wayne Carl and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Elbert Smith and a daughter, Sarah Jayne Smith.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Ray Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Goodway, AL at 3:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Cook, Ernie Brown, Eddie Dean, Jerry Holland, II, Earl Turberville, John Martin Val Verde, Rusty Lilley, Glen Shipp, Johnny Ramer, Dennie Dobbins and Jonathan Barr.
