A U. S. Navy veteran and graduate of Shippensburg University, Monte received his Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland. He was Director of Quality Assurance at Honeywell for NASA in Greenbelt, Maryland.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Eileen Patricia Worley Krauze; children, Ryan Krauze (Holly) of Summerville, SC, Jeremy Krauze and Erika Krauze (John), all of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Adelyn Acker and Leyton Acker; sister, Ruth Bedford of Dallastown, PA; and brother, Charles Ozels.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. A committal service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2018, in M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Dr., Anderson, SC 29621, by Miss JoAnne Alley.
