Elaine M Cook was born to the late David and Ruth (Stead) Jones in Palmyra, WI on March 22, 1924. Elaine graduated from Whitewater College High School, class of 1942, and attended Ms Browns School of Business. She married Gerald W Cook on December 29, 1945. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2012. She worked at the Rock County Savings and Loan for 26 years as an Officer in the Loan Department. Elaine and Gerry relocated to St Charles, IL where she was employed at Dukane Corporation as an Executive Secretary until her retirement in 1989. They retired to Peoria, AZ that same year. They relocated back to Wisconsin in 2000. Elaine enjoyed playing cards, bowling and was an avid Bucks and Brewers fan.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Cindy Gilbank of Beloit; her sons Dave (Barb) of Clarkesville, TN and Jeff of Alaska; granddaughters Kimberly (Tyree) Gamble, Jennifer (Kyle) Todd and Kelly (Kenny) Baldwin; grandsons James Gilbank, and Greg (Elizabeth); great grandchildren Samantha, Jordan, Chloe and Colton; sister Ruth Anne Rolfe; brothers John (Mary) Jones and Richard (Gretchen) Jones; sister in law Marie Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Ruth Jones, her brother Donald and her brother in law
