LEBLANC, FLORENCE - Florence Leblanc, 93, of Résidence Bellevue in Dieppe and formerly of Birch Street in Moncton, passed away on Friday December 27, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on April 5, 1920 in Memramcook, she was the daughter of the late Théotime and Ida (Melanson) Cormier. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at Eaton’s for 20 years. She is survived by one son, Alfred Bourgeois (Doris) of Moncton; three sisters: Lucilda Marsh (Gerald) of Miramichi, Yolande Gaudet (Edgar) of Halifax, NS and Helen Beemer (Merlyn) of Regina, SK; one granddaughter, Chantal Bourgeois; one great-grandson, Justin; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Auguste Bourgeois (1953); her second husband, William LeBlanc (1994); three sisters: Lilliana, Edna and Marie-Anne; three brothers: Hervé, Roméo and Henri.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 1 pm until time of departure (1:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton, on Monday December 30, 2013 at 2 pm. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe
