Marion is survived by her husband, Timothy, of Ogdensburg; three sons, Brian Lawton, Patrick Lawton and his wife, Britney, and Benjamin Lawton and his wife, Wendy; her sisters, Theresa Smith and her husband, Karlyle, of Lisbon, Patty Dishaw and her husband, Edmund, of Lisbon, and Angela Baker and her husband, Steven, of Madrid; in-laws, Paula Hillis and her husband, Alexander, Bernie Lawton and companion, Debbie Bogart, Susan Shannon and her husband, Mitchell, and Sandy Gauthier. Marion had several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
She was predeceased by her parents, Phyllis and Walter Johnson, and Patricia and Lawrence Lawton; and brother-in-law, Stanley Lawton.
Marion was born on August 5, 1962, at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of Walter L. “Benny” and Phyllis M. (Montroy) Johnson. She attended OFA and Northwest Tech where she trained as a machinist and graduate in 1981. Marion married Timothy J. Lawton on September 29, 1984 at Notre Dame Church with Father Theodore Gillette officiating; they have been married for thirty-three years. Marion had worked at Dixie Lee, Great American, Compus, Standard Shade Roller and also was employed at ACCO International Brands for twenty-five years. She was lastly employed as the Book Keeper for Lawton Electric in Lisbon, NY.
Marion loved crocheting, camping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, snowmobiling, playing Quick Draw and spending time with her lunch crew.
