Mrs. Sarah Packerham, a pioneer of Superior, died at the home of her son-in-law, E. H. Townsend, 1915 Grand avenue on December 29th. Death is attributed to old age.
Mrs. Packenham was 84 years old and had lived in Superior for over 30 years. She is survived by E. H. Townsend and his two children, her grandchildren. Her daughter, Mrs. Townsend, died early this spring.
Funeral services were held from Down's undertaking parlors on Wednesday afternoon, January 2, 1918. Interment was at Greenwood cemetery.
