A life resident of Akron, he had been employed with the Highway Maintenance Dept. for the City of Akron. He most recently had been self employed in the construction industry. Mark was always willing to lend a helping hand, assisting many neighbors, family and friends, having a very big heart. Mark also enjoyed fine cars, food, wine and song being an avid music fan of Led Zepplin and Jimmy Page.
Mark loved animals, nature and was quite the free spirit and dreamer.
Preceded in death by his dad, Jerry Carr (1-3-2009), he is survived by his mother, Ruth E. Carr; sister, Joyce (Jim) Pronio; and half-brother, Richard; nephews, Sean Conroy; he was "Uncle Mark" to Christy, Angle and Jeremiah Stonestreet; Mike and John Sylvester. You will be sadly missed by life long friend, Phyllis Byrd and many others including Ed Moore, Bill Swan, John Mills, Pat Harris, Jenny Sylvester, and so many more.
Cremation has taken place. Condolences may be sent to 108 Plaza Ct., Akron, Ohio 44312. "To live in the hearts left behind is not to die."
