Obituary
HOLLIS- Randy Earl Baxter passed away at the age of 48 on December 2, 2017 after several years of battling chronic kidney & heart disease. He was born on April 16, 1969 in Bridgton Maine to the late Rossie E. Johnson and Earl W. Baxter. He was the stepson of the late Harold C. Johnson.
In his spare time, Randy loved to go fishing and attend drag races, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly referred to him as Papa.
Randy is survived by his “best buddy” Mary, his children, Lynn, Owen and Louis; His three granddaughters Anella, Caitlynn, and Aubree-Jane; his three grandsons Xanda, William and Yiatt; as well as his siblings, Sandra Nielson of Anchorage, Alaska, Rodney Baxter of Windham, Sally French and her husband Tim of Waterboro, and Heidi Roberts of West Paris.
Randy will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 6th at 6 pm at The Vineyard Church of Greater Portland, 715 Bridgton Road, Westbrook. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at 22 Bramhall St, Portland, ME 04102
Arrangements have been entrusted to Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service, Buxton.
