Mrs. Sheila Ann (Lawrence) Carter, resident of Wynne, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, September 3, 2017, in the comfort of her home. She was born in Weona, Arkansas on Wednesday, June 11, 1952, the daughter of the late Albert Lawrence and Jessie (Jenkins) Lawrence.
Sheila and Garry Lee Carter were united in marriage on June 8, 1968, and they worked together for many years in the meat department of Hays Supermarket. Mrs. Sheila loved to crochet and tend to her flowers and yard. She also loved to spend time with her family.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Jessie Lawrence; three brothers, and two sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Garry Carter; a daughter, Stacy Robertson and husband, Joey, and their children Jeff, his daughter, Emily, Drew and wife, Lannie, their daughter, Hadley, and LeAsa; a son, Scott Carter and wife, Amanda, and their son, Owen; a daughter, Kim Milholland and Charles Suthrlen, and their children, Whitney and husband, Cody, their children, Alannah and Carter, Desiray and husband, Patrick, their son, Jayson, and Shonta; a son, Cory Carter, and wife, Jessica, and their children, J.D. and Eryn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A private graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Vanndale Cemetery in Vanndale, Arkansas.
