SHREVEPORT, LA- Margie W. Lyons, 78 of Junction City, AR died Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at The Promise in Shreveport, LA following a lengthy illness.

Born September 16, 1928 in Union County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of James Claude and Callie Pepper Williams. She had been employed at the Louisiana Ordinance Plant at Dixie Inn, LA and later retired from A.T. & T. in Shreveport. Mrs. Lyons was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Elmer V. Lyons, a son, Royce E. Lyons, a grandson, Lyndon K. Lynn, a son-in-law, Bennie W. Weaver, sisters, Collie Burnside and Blanche Templeton and brothers, Cleet Williams, Joe Williams, Lloyd Williams, Edward Williams, Allen Williams, James Williams and Brewer Williams.

Survivors include a daughter, Bonnie Weaver of Junction City, a sister, Pauline Anderson of El Dorado, two grandchildren, Tracy Royce Lyons of Junction City and Bryan Ray Weaver of Shreveport. Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren, Kasie J. Tolbert, Melissa S. Lynn, Lyndon Bryce Weaver, Braydon R. Weaver, Logan T. Lyons, Madalyn E. Lyons and Michael Royce Lyons and one expected great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P. M. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Olive Branch Methodist Church with Rev. Leroy Jones and Dr. Dwain Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lemone Williams, Steve Williams, Bosco Williams, Jimmy Wayne Anderson, Bill McKinney and Sonny Crawford. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Hux, Wilmot Ford, Bobby Weaver, Kent Lynn and Gerald Williams.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 P. M. Friday.
