Bryant Beasley Wildes, age 82 of Alma, passed away Tuesday January 23, 2018 in the Bacon Co. Hospital. Bryant was a native of Brantley County, a veteran of the US Army, and the son of the late Liston Wilbur and Claudia Mae Walker Wildes. Brothers Chester, Lester, and Clifford Wildes and sister Vernie Mae Taylor also precede Bryant in death.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Carolyn Margaret Wildes, son Brandon Matthew Wildes of Alma, 2 daughters Tara Holley Wildes (James Bowen) of Jacksonville, Fl and DeAnna Margot of Alma, 3 brothers Franklin Wildes (Rose) of Okeechobee, Fl, T.L. Wildes (Rose) of Jacksonville, FL, and Marcell Wildes (Mary) of Alma, sister Oweda Faye Taylor of Alma, grandson Alexander Wildes Bowen, and great-granddaughter Eloise Elaine Bowen.

Funeral services will be held Monday January 30th at 2 PM in the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home with Rev. T.F. Yawn officiating and a Eulogy given by Roger Johnson. Active pallbearers will be Greg Boatright, Tommy Wildes, Tracey Wildes, Corey Bell, Landon Wood, and Shane Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Johnson, Bobby Stewart, Pete Johnson, Carlton Wood, Eugene Dyal, Edgar Dyal, Charles Wildes and Albert Wildes. The family will be receiving guest Monday from 1 until 2 PM. Internment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
