Donald was a hard worker who took pride in taking care of his family. He retired from Chrysler after 24 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greentown and a member of the Laporte Masonic Lodge. Donald served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. Donald was a devoted husband and father, and anyone who met him knew his heart belonged to the three women in his life his beautiful wife and two daughters. They were his world.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Larison of Kokomo, Tammy (James) Cannon of Blakely, Georgia; five grandchildren, Jamie (Bill) Sharpton, Ashton Cannon, Joel (Meghan) Larison, Drew (Erin) Larison, and Bryce (Crystal) Cannon; five great-grandchildren, Cannon, Champ and Charlie Sharpton, and Elianna and Jude Larison.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Margaret Holman, his wife, Loretta; two brothers, John and Charles Holman; and one sister, Daisy Musser.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may made to Alzheimers Unit at Northwoods Village. Online condolences may be left
