Sharon Mildred Cole age 69, died surrounded by her loving family on January 22, 2018. She was born on April 18, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri. The daughter of the late William and Mildred Werner (nee Stahlberg).

Those who knew her will always remember the love she had for her family and grandchildren. The warmness in her heart she felt at family Christmas every year when she showered everyone with gifts, and the happiness it brought everyone to eat one of her home cooked meals. She was a strong woman who knew how to put up a fight. She will be terribly missed by everyone who knew and loved her, but she would not want us to dwell on all the times that she will miss, but instead embrace and cherish all the laughs and memories that she was there to witness.

Sharon was the wife of William Edward Cole, loving mother and mother-in-law to Debbie (Michael) Schmuck of O’Fallon, MO, Lea Ann (Russell) Chittenden of O’Fallon, MO. and Laurie Cole of High Ridge, MO. Proud and adored grandmother of Ashley (Adam) Pickett, Nikki (James) Daugherty, Erin Schmuck, Danielle (Kris) Waked, Carrie (Craig) Snarzyk, Taylor Chittenden, Timothy Cowin, Alyssa Cowin and Samantha Cowin. Loving great grandmother to Blair, Reece, Tyson, Makenna, Raegan, Nora, James (J.R.), Scarlet, Drake, Willow and Chloe. Loving sister and sister-in-law to Bill (Carol) Bartlett, Sandra (Norris) Schlup and Donald Werner.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Mildred, and her loving siblings, Tina Bartlett, Michael Werner and Tammy Baker.

“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still so loved, so missed and very dear.”
