THOMSON— Julian Fred Brooks Jr., age 70, of 407 Stonewall Drive, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in a Milledgeville veterans hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Brooks was a native of Thomson, a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and retired from United Technology as a dispatcher. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian Fred Brooks Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sue Tanner Brooks of Hendersonville, TN; a son, Jay Brooks of Hendersonville; a daughter, Julie Howell of Alcoa, Tenn.; and his mother, Helen Broome Brooks of Thomson; four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
