Thelma Williams Ward was born to the late Isaiah Williams and Ella Bowers Williams of Augusta, Georgia. She was taken into the arms of Jesus by her angels on January 15, 2018, at Hospice Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was educated at Immaculate Conception of Augusta, Georgia. She held various positions for several companies in the Augusta area until becoming employed at Dymo Products (currently known as Esselte Pendaflex) where she retired from full-time employment. After retirement, she continued to work part-time with AARP's Experience Works until she turned the ripe young age of 79.
She is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law , Edwina W. Heard and Dominic M. Heard, Sr., two grandchildren, Jasmine A. Heard and D. Michael Heard, Jr., four great- grandchildren, Jaden and Kaleb Peck, Matthew Heard, and RaJonne Edwards, Jr., niece, Ella Evans, grandnephew, Kenneth Williams, grandnieces, Sherry Hunt, Francine Barksdale, Alisa Jones, and Vernice Jones, a host of cousins, other loved ones and friends.
