Isabella Jane Campbell married George B. Gerrard, a widower of 42 years who farmed in the Coe Hill area on June 8, 1909 in Cobourg, Northumberland County, Ontario as noted on Ontario Marriage Registration #015453. But according to the tombstone of William Campbell and Isabella Jane Sidey in the Clydesdale Cemetery, only three short years later their daughter, Isabella Jane, died in August of 1912. Following the death of Isabella Jane, his second wife, George Gerrard moved to Waterhole, Alberta to homestead with his oldest son, William, who tragically was killed in 1918 while fighting in WW1.
