She was a 1939 graduate of Epson High School, married Elmer Leon May on April 20, 1941 and together they started their family and ran the family business Swanee Orchards.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Elmer, son Gerrith, brothers Nando Duke, William Duke, Homer Duke, Harry Duke, sisters Frowe Jackson, Eunice Jackson, Esther Baker, Berniece Duke and daughters in-laws Wanda May and Karen May.
Survivors include her sons Keith May of Sullivan, James (Debbie) May of Bradenton, FL, daughter Elonne (Tom) Davis of Terre Haute, fifteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, several other nieces, nephews and other family.
Entombment will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery.
