Theda Norris, 93, a resident of Cleveland and former resident of Lenoir City went to her heavenly home, January 21, 2018, at Life Care Center of Cleveland. She attended Kingston Pike Baptist Church in Lenoir City prior to her illness. Theda retired after 40 years of service from Bell South, she enjoyed traveling, painting and gardening. She was an immaculate gardener and painted beautiful portraits and especially landscape oil paintings. She had a great Love for animals and liked spending time with friends and family. Theda was known for her incredible smile. It would brighten many people’s day just to see her smile. A special thank you for her caregivers Shawn, Gwen and Life Care Staff.

She was preceded in death by father and mother, Hugh and Laura Williams Norris; sister, Ila Mae (Buck) Glass; brothers, Bill (Mildred), Scott (Polly), Hasson (Joy), Eugene, and Bobby. Survived by her sisters-in-law, like sisters Lucy and Martha Norris, and Mary and the late J.C. Shinpaugh of Lenoir City; nephew, David Glass (Brenda); niece, Deborah Norris Womack (Harry) of Florida; great-nephew, Keith (Keum) Glass; great-great nephew, Konner Glass of Chattanooga; great-great nieces, Kaleigh Glass of Chattanooga, Shawn Glass (Jeff) Ballew, Mandy Dixon, Maddie Ballew of Cleveland, and Ciera Dixon (Kevin) Passmore of Ocoee, TN and special friend and caretaker Gwen Brice of Cleveland.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 p.m. with Dr. Ronny Jones officiating and special music by Mandy Dixon. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
