Johnny Wayne Hicks, age 57, of Greeneville, died Tuesday at Takoma Hospital.

Survivors include his children: Angela Hicks, Jonathan (Heather) Hicks, and Violetann Hicks; his fiancé: Karen Hice; mothers of his children: Drusilla Long and Alice Shelton; six grandchildren: Kieran, Lena, Andrew, Kielee, Paisley, and Addalynn; brothers and sisters: Mary Hicks, Wanda Funderburg, Leonard (Elaine) Hicks, Jr., Jimmy Hicks, Jackie Hicks; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leonard and Ruth Hicks; infant son: John Robert Hicks; granddaughter: Lyleanne Hicks; two sisters: Brenda Collier and Violet Hicks.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 p.m. Thursday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Danny Ricker will officiate. Burial will be in Hardin’s Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
