BEVIER – Bobbie Joe Robertson, 83, of Bevier, KY, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018, under the care of Baptist Health Hospice. He was born in Brownie, KY on June 4, 1934, to Marvin Watson Robertson and Ethel Mae Walker Robertson.

He was a UMWA member, retired in 1988. He was an avid horse lover and a longtime hunter.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou Perry Robertson; two daughters, Teresa Kaye (Jonathan) Smedley and Barbara Jo (Harold) Dukes; one son, Mark "Pete" Christopher Robertson; two grandsons, Bobby Joe Dukes and Mark Christopher Robertson, Jr.; one great-grandson Terry Lee Dukes; four great-granddaughters Brooklyn Robertson, Zoie Dukes, Mikaylah Robertson, and Sloane Robertson; and brother Melvin (Donna) Robertson.

He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Ron Cary officiating. Burial in Peanut Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:30AM at the funeral home.
